1. Introduction

ZorvClean (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a device cleaning and storage optimization app. This policy details full data lifecycle management, including collection, processing, storage, protection, sharing, retention, deletion, and user control. We comply with Google Play policies, GDPR, CCPA, and global data protection rules, with privacy as a core design principle.

2. Permission Usage & Necessity

To provide media file scanning, preview, and cleanup services, we request:

• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Scan and display photos for user-selected deletion to free storage
• READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: Scan and display videos for user-selected deletion to optimize space

All media processing runs locally on your device. We do NOT upload, store, or share your photos, videos, or file contents to any server. Permissions are used only for core functionality and limited to the minimum scope required.

3. Data Privacy Management Framework

We enforce strict data minimization, purpose limitation, storage limitation, and confidentiality throughout the data lifecycle.

3.1 Data We Collect (Only Non-Personal Anonymous Data)

• Device info: model, OS version, app version, storage status
• Anonymous crash logs and performance data for stability and bug fixes
• Aggregated usage statistics (no personal identification)

• We do NOT collect names, contacts, location, messages, account data, or sensitive personal information.

3.2 Data Processing Principles

• Purpose Binding: Data is used only to deliver, secure, and improve cleaning services
• Minimization: No excessive or unrelated data collection
• Local-First: Media scanning and deletion occur offline; no file content transmission
• No Profiling: No user behavior analysis or advertising profiling

3.3 Data Storage & Retention Management

• Anonymous diagnostic data is stored encrypted and retained for a maximum of 90 days
• No media files, personal data, or user content is stored on our servers
• Automatic anonymization and deletion upon retention expiration
• Uninstalling the app ceases all data access and removes local temporary data

3.4 Data Security Protection Measures

• Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption for minimal diagnostic data transmission
• Local data isolation to prevent unauthorized access
• Regular security audits and vulnerability testing
• Strict access control for internal data processing

3.5 Data Sharing & Third-Party Management

We never sell, rent, or trade user data.

Third-party services (e.g., Firebase Analytics) receive only anonymous data under their own privacy policies. Third parties are prohibited from reusing data for unauthorized purposes.

3.6 User Data Rights & Control Management

You may exercise full control at any time:

• Revoke READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO permissions in system settings
• Clear app cache and local temporary data
• Uninstall the app to terminate all data processing
• Request details of data processing via support contact
• Opt out of non-essential diagnostic collection

3.7 Data Deletion & Right to be Forgotten

• No persistent personal data is stored, so no residual data remains
• Temporary local files are cleared on app close or data reset
• Requests for data confirmation or deletion are processed without delay

4. Children’s Privacy

ZorvClean is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

5. Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. Material updates will be notified in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
